I’m sure the anxiety and mental illness that our species is suffering, at least what I see of it around me, has been experienced by the rest of nature for the past 500 years at an accelerating rate. And now we can see the next step, the death and destruction of nature, with our own eyes.

Finally finished "Hospicing Modernity: Facing Humanity's Wrongs and the Implications for Social Activism" by Vanessa Machado de Olivera. Not an easy read for many reasons but a pot stirrer of thoughts and responses.
