Great piece, Todd. I feel like Jesus is always about extending…extending offers to “come and see,” extending the table to include strangers and soon-to-be friends, extending life after it has been extinguished, extending his hands to heal, extending grace that is undeserved.
Thanks Angie, yes, we are invited to the great banquet. When we see life through scarcity we hoard and think there is not enough love, money, hope, grace to go around. It sets us against each other rather than for each other.
Absolutely. It’s unfortunate that the land of the free has gone from one being able to start a business to unending greed and the amassing more wealth than any one person, family, and maybe even a community could spend in a lifetime.
