Thanks, Todd. Bread and breaking bread together, a physical and spiritual practice that feeds the soul. Maybe baking bread is a sacred act when done out of love, thinking about each of the ingredients and putting them together . When we take the kitchen stuff of life and and set it apart from common everyday use to an awareness of the sacred qualities, we become aware of a Spirit that is a different kind of food.

Love this, Todd! My belief is that eating together is the solution. I've heard this from the Dalai Lama and believe that eating together creates opportunities to see how we are more alike than different!

Todd - I wasn’t sure where you were going with this essay, but I’ve learned you always take your readers on a worthy journey and then deliver the powerful and lovely message. Today was no different.

“It's about hospitality, joy and connection.”

LIFE. And the AFTERLIFE.
